Hiap Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd was established in early 1990s and incorporated in 1998. We have a team of Licensed Gas Service Workers (LGSW) authorized by the Energy Market Authority to carry out gas service works involving gas pipe inspection, installation and maintenance.
A professional and an expert in gas with near to 30 years of field experience and an extensive understanding in the gas industry, We maintain a high standard of safe and proficient gas pipe services.
Our vast portfolio of gas engineering and pipe work projects cover premises such as Residential & Commercial buildings, F&B Establishments, Religious Institutions, Schools and Hotels.
Our company renders services for the inspection and soundness testing of residential & non-residential premises that is an annual requirement for any piped-gas consumers under the Gas Act.

Gas Inspection & Soundness Test
Our engineers are licensed by EMA (Energy Market Authority) to perform Annual Inspection and Soundness Test for gas pipes of commercial buildings, private residences and F&B establishments etc.
Our Inspection work includes:
• Inspecting the gas pipes for gas leaks and/or gas pipe corrosion.
• To repair and/or replace new pipe/parts for the faulty pipe-works, the safety control system and gas appliances.
• Conduct a Soundness Test at a suitable testing point.
• To issue Certificate of Fitness to certify that the gas pipes are “fit and safe for use”.
Gas Pipe Installation Works
We pride ourselves in the installation of high quality gas pipes for any and all new design & build projects, existing additions & alteration projects. Safety is always our priority for our clients as well as our employees.
Our Installation work includes:
• Installation of gas pipes for new builds.
• Additions and alterations to existing gas installation.
• Installation and connection of gas appliances for F&B establishments, religious institutions, private residences, hotels and factories such as central kitchens.
• Inspection and testing of the installation to ensure that it has been installed without issues and is safe for use.
Gas Pipe Repair & Maintenance Works
The installation of gas pipes is only the first step. After extended use, gas appliances require regular maintenance and servicing to keep them running at their optimum efficiency. Especially with gas pipes being worn down, or breaking would lead to gas leaks which poses safety risks. We provide regular service maintenance of gas appliances for our customers. With customized contracts in accordance to their service requirements and needs.
Our Gas Pipe Repair & Maintenance Works Include:
• Repair of leaking gas pipe joints.
• Repairing faulty gas meter ball valves.
• Replacing gas pipe flexible hoses.
